The Founder
Llyod Leavitt
Lloyd started Leavitt Excavation back in 1969, and it has been family owned ever since. Our base operations are in Kayenta, and Veyo UT. Leavitt Excavation has serviced communities in Southern Utah for many years and looks foward to continuing to grow relationships with many more.
Current Owner
John Leavitt
Growing up John worked with his dad and grandpa, learning everything he knows now. He gained experience, and eventually bought the company and now operates under his contractors license. He finds a lot of joy in the quality of his work and he always makes an effort to be as efficient as possible. His wife Shirley, helps run the office. Together, they have 7 kids; Austin, Emilee, Dalton, Cole, Mariah, George, and Drecin

Austin Leavitt
As the 4th generation of the family business, Austin got a jumpstart into all kinds of work at a young age. He is a very skilled operator and is still learning a lot. His wife Kadee also works in the office.
Together, they have 2 kids; Kaycee and Keaton
